Reconstruction of an old private house: an incredible transformation
Reconstruction of an old private house by designer Marie Fenigan, Houston, USA
Reconstruction of an old private house requires special attention of specialists. That is why, when, at the request of a young married couple, Houston designer Marie Fenigan took on this project, she tried to make housing not only more light and stylish, but also to preserve the unique historical component of its decor.
Spacious living room with light furniture and wooden beams on the ceiling
Cabinet furniture made of natural wood and stylish lace panels on the walls
The combination of wood, white and cream shades visually expands the space.
A fireplace, wicker chairs and a plank floor are in perfect harmony with light-colored textiles.
The classic living room suite is organically combined with the old thin carpet
The lighting system includes different types of pendant chandeliers, sconces and table lamps
Living plants and large windows with white frames give a special charm to the living room.
The classic style with modern elements is sustained in the office
In the recreation area, light gray tones were added to the main palette for a change.
Spacious kitchen with designer chandelier equipped with all necessary appliances
Golden drapes and elegant furniture make the dining room look very luxurious.
Stylish wallpapers and sanitary ware made of natural stone were chosen for the bathroom interior.
Forged railings, left in their original form, became the main decoration of the stairs.
The carefully thought-out interior of a small bedroom looks very organic.
The children’s room pleases with bright orange spots that create a playful mood.
The adjoining children’s bathroom is decorated in blue tones and decorated with toys.
For each room, the designer chose an individual visual accent.
Decent job, isn’t it?
